Indications that THIS time, in general, is THE time

In part one – “Where Did the Dates Come From?” – http://www.raisingloveconsciousness.com/summary/2012-mayan-calendar    I spoke about the specific cited end-dates for the Mayan Calendar.  The end of one world cycle and the beginning of the next world cycle.

I suggested that specific dates are not really relevant.  But what about this time in general?  I certainly believe that this time, in general, is a time of great change.  So in this article, I’ll present an overview of the many events that “coincidentally” occur around this time which add a great deal of weight to any alleged Mayan Prophecies. 

The Three Categories of 2012 Prophecies

Meanwhile, there are three different major categories of 2012 prophecy.  Again, I have written about these three categories in my article at http://www.raisingloveconsciousness.com/summary/2012-prophecies-preparations-climate-change

Briefly however, the three categories are:

1.  There will be a major geo-physical catastrophe that will change the world – the Doomsday Scenario.

2.  There will be a major shift in consciousness alone, at this time.  This tends to be more associated with the work of Carl Calleman.   Some people subscribe to both items 1 and 2, which is different to the following third category.

3.  There are many esoteric beliefs about us moving, or ‘ascending’, to a new dimension, or new planet, or taking-on a new spiritual form, as opposed to our current physical form.  This, it is said, will occur at the same time as the geo-physical catastrophe.  So that those who have, or are working on, raising their consciousness will be zapped away to the other whatever/where ever seconds before the global cataclysm occurs and so they will be spared.

Also, over time I will write some brief articles about Scenario Three and publish them in our Raising Love Consciousness magazine.

In the main, those who believe in a major geo-physical catastrophe think that this could happen on or around December 21^st, 2012.

But on what do they base this belief?

 

Let’s Look at Category #1 – A major geo-physical event and why ‘will’ it happen at this time?

The date, no matter how it’s calculated, or what that date specifically is, and it’s associated Mayan prophecies come from what now appears to be two, not one, carved stone monuments, not the round Aztec sun stone. 

The first, the Tortuguero monument 6  “was discovered in the 1915, but in 1978 and 1980, Prof. Dr Berthold Riese published studies on the inscriptions found there.  … A cement factory was built on top of the site in 1981 [can you believe that], but a few ruins remain.” (Geoff Stray-. http://www.grahamhancock.com/forum/StrayG1.php)  

The second engraving was only discovered very recently, in November 2011, and it’s known as the “Comalcalco Brick”. It is only a fragment, but arguably it also indicates that something will arrive from the heavens at the end of the 13^th Baktun, which is about this time.  See story http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/discoveries/story/2011-11-24/mexico-apocalypse-2012-mayans/51387348/1

In addition, information was gleaned from the only four books or Codices remaining after the Spanish bishops invaded the Mayan regions and destroyed all of their ‘written’ history, except for these four books, which were sent to various European libraries.

However, when you watch the Mayan Lecture Series, starting next Wednesday, here on RaisingLoveConsciousness.com, you’ll realise that the Maya didn’t predict anything like the stories that are going around.  All the Maya said was that the last time this same cycle ended, 5125 years ago, there were massive changes.  They didn’t say it would happen again.

All they predicted was that Bolon Yokte, the Mayan God of Judgement, would descend from the heavens around this time for a big ceremony. A lot of similarity, I’m sure you’ll agree, to the predicted second coming of Jesus of Nazareth.

Interestingly, the new monument, the Comalcalco Brick, that was discovered last year, gives a similar time to now and depicts some sort of bright light coming in from the sky.

So, if we are to go purely by what the Maya said, then basically nothing is really going to happen at all.

But most serious researchers have linked the end of this 5125 year cycle to a range of other events and other ancient prophecies, such as ancient stone carvings on places like the Great Pyramid of Giza.  “Coincidentally” it’s argued that these various predictions indicate that this is the time to expect change.

Just as today, when our scientists send messages out into space, like Carl Sagan’s 1974 Arecibo message, we send the message out in a binary computer code.  The belief being that the EDEs (Extra Dimensional Entities) will be able to understand our computer code but not our many different languages.

Whether or not you believe, as I do, that our ancient messages came from EDEs is irrelevant.  But just like todays scientists, the ancient ones whoever they were, based most of their historic and predictive writings and carvings on astrological alignments and cosmic influences.  This is certainly a common ‘language’ that all people can see.  It is just about having the sophistication to understand their encoded messages.

So these ‘messages’ from ancient times, plus the Mayan monuments and so forth indicated that when a range of heavenly events occurred relatively simultaneously, it would be the sign that one world age was ending and a new one beginning.  

 

The Most Significant Events Occurring at this Time

The most significant time-frames and events are:

 

1.      The end of the 25,625 year procession of the equinox cycle.

The 25,625 year cycle of the precession of the equinoxes, generally rounded out to 26,000 years, is allegedly due to end around December, 2012.  Although researcher Maurice Cotterill disagrees with this date.  Maurice Cotterill is a good name to look up as he has some fascinating theories. 

Due to the wobble that the Earth has at its axis, the procession of the equinoxes is the name given as the Earth’s axis points to each of the 12 constellations of the zodiac, and this takes 25,625 +/-  years.  Nick Fiorenza has a great working model of this on his website http://www.lunarplanner.com/HCmovies/HCmovie300Frame.html  The model is in the form of a short mp4 movie, which will download automatically if you have Quick Time on your computer.  Watching the video can be a little confusing at first.  My recommendation is that once it has downloaded, just focus on the tiny Earth in the very centre of the little screen and watch the axis line move around the circle pointing to all of the signs of the zodiac, which takes about 26,000 years.  The movie automatically repeats and so it’s worth watching a few rounds.  The more you do, the more it will make sense, especially if you read the explanatory text beneath.

 

2.      The end of the c13,000 year half cycle

Assuming #1 is accurate, then the c13,000 year half cycle also ends at this time, which is believed to be quite significant.

 

3.      The end of the 4^th/5^th World Age – 5125 year cycle

The Maya and Aztecs divided these 25,625 year cycles by five cycles or world ages of 5125 years.  Although the Hopi and Ancient Indian culture say that there are only four world ages each of 5000 years duration.  Whichever model you want to subscribe to, if we are coming to the end of the precession of the equinoxes, then we are also coming to the end of both the fourth or fifth world age cycle.  Based on the Maya inscriptions, this current world age began on August 11, 3114 BCE.

Call me a skeptic, but I have always wondered if that precise August 11, 3114 BCE date was arrived at in order to give credibility to a December 21^st, 2012 end-date.  See Calleman’s paper http://www.raisingloveconsciousness.com/summary/october-28th-2011-v-december-21st-2012  for how the specific dates were calculated.

So “coincidentally” at this time not only is the 4^th /5^th world age coming to an end, but the 25,625 precession of the equinoxes is also concluding.  So this time is unlike any other in the past c26,000 years.

 

4.      Same events happening today also happened 5125 years ago

In addition, Gregg Braden, in his book Fractal Time (2009), lists many events that are happening today, which are remarkably similar to those that happened both 5125 years ago and also c26,000 years ago. 

As an example, just as we are experiencing today a decrease in the magnetic field, a sharp increase in solar activity, global warming, collapse of the polar-ice, and so a rise in sea-levels, and collapsing dynasties, multiple wars, and over extended economies.  Braden suggests that there is evidence indicating that those same events were experienced 5125 years ago and also 26,000 years ago with the exception of those last social events because there were no civilizations as we know them, at that time.

 

5.      Galactic Alignment for the Sun and Earth with the Equatorial centre of the Milky Way

The alignment of the Earth and Sun with the equatorial centre of our Milky Way galaxy is said, by many, to occur in December 2012.  However, there are just as many, of whom I  am one, who argue that it is scientifically impossible to give a precise date when the Earth crosses the galactic equatorial plane. 

Another belief is that the actual crossing of the plane took, or takes, place over many years, which sounds right to me.  This is not like crossing a road.  The period of influence during this crossing is said to have begun the 1980s and is expected to be completed in about 2020. 

Meanwhile, John Major Jenkins, who has done a great deal of research on this very event has a good explanation of this on his website http://alignment2012.com/whatisga.htm 

He also clearly states, on the above web page, that the Galactic Alignment “zone”, which only occurs once every 26,000 years, occurs over a period of time.  In our current case from 1980 – 2016, which is known as  ”era-2012.”

Whilst there is debate on the specific time frame, I have yet to find any credible evidence refuting the fact that this galactic alignment is occurring, or has occurred, at this general time.

Consequently, as this alignment of the Earth and Sun with the equatorial plane of the Milky Way only occurs every c26,000  years, this is the greatest evidence of all that the 26,000 year precession of the equinoxes has indeed finished its cycle and is about to start a new 26,000 years cycle.   

And what that is said to mean is that the galactic gravitational forces on the solar system will be the greatest they’ve been in c 26,000 years.

 

6.      Our Earth’s Magnetic Field is Dropping

As mentioned above, currently our magnetic field is dropping.  Going back some years many people argued that this was a sign that we’d have a magnetic reversal of our poles here on Earth and that this would trigger a major disaster.  We are not hearing that argument as much these days.  But you can read an overview of that situation at http://www.raisingloveconsciousness.com/summary/2012-2-magnetic-polar-reversal

 

7.      Solar Peak and Reversal of Solar Poles due late 2012/early 2013

However, the 11 +/- year Sun cycle, when the Sun’s poles reverse, is “coincidentally” due to happen late 2012/early 2013.  This generally means that a lot great solar activity will occur than at other times.

 

8.      Coming Solar Peak Could be 50% stronger than Previous One

NASA scientists indicate that this solar cycle will peak late in 2012/early 2013 and could be as much as 50% stronger than the last Solar Peak about 11 odd years ago.  And this strengthening solar activity seems to be occurring, as predicted, and so we are more vulnerable to a range of disruptions, especially electronic disruptions.  I have a category called “Sun Activity” under the parent category of “Cosmic Consciousness”.  Keep an eye on that for some forthcoming articles on what the Sun is doing.

 

9.      Increase in Gamma Rays

There appears to be a noted increase in inter-galactic gamma rays at this time.  These can also cause major disruptions.  I talk a little more about these ray shortly.

 

10.  Chinese Lunar Calendar Cycle also begins again this year

Interestingly, yet another “coincidence” is that the Chinese calendar also starts anew at this time, 2012, with the start of the Year of the Dragon – the first of the 12 ‘animals’  depicted in the Chinese zodiac.

 

So there are but 10 “coincidental” cycles and events said to be currently occurring, give or take a year or two, as well as the Mayan prophecy of the descent of Bolon Yokte. 

I have to wonder if the descent of Bolon Yokte as indicated on the Tortuguero monument 6  and the heavenly arrival shown on the Comalcalco Brick could metaphorically represent the increase of cosmic energy streaming down on us at this time from the heaven.  

All of these events combined, give weight to the beliefs that major world changing events could well occur at this time.

But none of those events necessarily indicate or predict that a major global geo-physical cataclysm will result.

 

How Did the Ancient Ones Know of these Cosmic Cycles?

So here we are today, experiencing all of these cosmic influences that are believed by the ancient ones to indicate the end of one world age and the beginning of the next.

This then begs the often asked question, how did the ancient Egyptians, Maya, Aztecs et cetra have the sophisticated scientific, astrological, and astronomical knowledge to make these future predictions?

Well I am not really sure that the evidence is sufficient to indicate that these ancient ones did make any predictions for the future.

They certainly told stories of the past, and perhaps we have all decided that a cycle, is a cycle, is a cycle, and so if it occurred in the past, it will probably occur again in the future.  And that is a reasonable assumption.

Good futurists today make their future predictions by looking for historical patterns and cycles and then they project similar events for future cycles.

Also the decoding of many of the engravings on places like the Great Pyramid in Giza gives indications of likely changes at specific astrological times.  This is an area I hope to research further.

However, once again, how did those ancient people look back thousands of years in the past to even recognise cycles, so that they could arguably ‘predict’ the future?

 

Physicist & Cosmologist, Dr Paul LaViolette gives three possibilities:

1. Perhaps there was an extremely advanced indigenous civilization on Earth in the ancient times and for some reason they just died out. Now that doesn’t seem very plausible, especially if they were so advanced.

2. Ancient peoples were extremely intuitive and were able to tap into some stream of cosmic consciousness. Also not very plausible because if they could do it then why couldn’t they continue to do it.

3. The third possibility is that this very sophisticated knowledge came to the Earth from off-planet, or extra dimensional entities (EDE) and was either implemented on Earth by these EDEs or they taught the ancients what to do.  However, when the EDEs left Earth, the science was far too complex for the ancients to continue with its use.

This third scenario is the one that Dr LaViolette subscribes to and is certainly the one I have spoken about for decades.

There is so much evidence and eye witness accounts of EDEs including the stories from a number of astronauts including Edgar Mitchell, the 6th man to walk on the Moon, all of the Apollo 11 crew, and even NASA records – See my article at  http://www.raisingloveconsciousness.com/summary/et-ufo-ancient-times  where I argue a case for EDEs.

Also, http://www.raisingloveconsciousness.com/summary/et-disclosures-fbi  shows FBI documents that were released in which a memo states that FBI personnel saw ETs and UFOs at Rosewell.

 I’ve always argued that I believe the 2011/2012 prophecies on the basis that this ancient knowledge was given to our ancient ancestors by EDEs who we’ll assume are much more advanced that we are.   As such, they would be aware of the precession of the equinoxes and of the workings of the Sun, and Sun Spot activity, and all the other cosmic cycles both from history and looking forward to the future.

Again, it’s well to keep in mind that the last time anything remotely like the cosmic influences that are affecting us today, occurred 5125 years ago.  And 5125 years ago, the precession of the equinoxes was not finishing.  With the precession of the equinoxes finishing at this time, it is really 26,000 odd years ago since the Earth experienced cosmic influences like those occurring today – long before any human history was recorded.

Now to me, that really is exciting stuff and an exciting time to be here.

Consequently, if the EDEs carved this information in stone for us to find when the time was right, then perhaps they did have the very long range vision of a returning asteroid that could hit us at this time.

And this is why so many people were so drawn in by the passing of Asteroid YU 55 last year.

Even so, based on the best scientific information we have at the moment – nothing cosmic is going to hit us in the foreseeable future. 

However, EDEs with their long range vision would know a lot more than we do, and so I say, what I always say, that anything is possible.  We’ll just have to wait and see.

 

If not an Asteroid; then what?

As you know, many people are looking at solar and lunar events and saying that a major Earth changing event could happen in 2012/2013/2014.

Dr Paul LaViolette, and many other scholars who agree with his theories, are saying that a massive, Super (gama) Wave that emanated from Galactic Centre could already be on its way. 

In an interview that I did with LaViolette last year (see Interview Downloads) he said that the average scientist is not able to see the centre of the galaxy from Earth, and so there is no real way we can be sure if a Super Wave has left Galactic Center.  Although some of NASA’s satellites are now, no doubt, able to see what is happening or perhaps has happened.  But will they tell us!

A Super Wave would certainly fulfil many of the beliefs of massive destruction, including those carved on the Mayan monuments indicating that something coming from the sky would hit the Earth and mark the start of the next World Age.  It would also probably initially show in the sky as a blue light and then leave the world in, at least, 3 days of darkness as predicted by the Hopi to mark the end of one world age and the beginning of the next. 

However, LaViolette says that, if a Super Wave is on its way, then based on the research he’s done, it would not be due to reach us until about 2037. 

So that’s another great date to look forward to.  But we should have plenty of notice IF that is to occur.

Therefore, we have scientists saying that nothing catastrophic will happen at this time.  On the other hand, we possibly have EDEs from ancient times saying that they can see the full repeating cycles.  They can see what has happened in the past and as a cycle is a cycle, like all cycles it will repeat itself and this is alleged to be the time it will happen.  Whatever the “IT” actually is.

It is for this reason that I have the category of “2012 & Prophecies” in our Raising Love Consciousness magazine.   And I’ll be continually looking for any information on this topic that might come to hand so I can keep you up-to-date.

Nevertheless, even with these 2012 prophecies of cosmic events, nothing specific has been said.  There is nothing concrete that we can say – yes it is scientifically undeniable that an XYZ catastrophe will occur around the end of 2012, early 2013.  Certainly not at this point in time.

And once again remember, that there are no specific Mayan prophecies saying that the world is doomed at this time.  Again, all the Maya predicted is that Bolon Yokte would return at this time, just like Christians have been saying for centuries that Jesus Christ would come down on a cloud and return.  And there have been numerous dates given when this was to occur in the past – none of which came to fruition.

The entity coming from outer space as indicated on the newly discovered Comalcalco Brick could just as easily be the return of the Transit of Venus as it could be a destructive giant asteroid or Super Gama Wave.

Indeed, many researchers are focusing closely on the return of the beautiful Transit of Venus in June, 2012, as the time for a massive change in cosmic energy.

And you might say but the Transit of Venus also occurred in 2004 and 120 years before that and nothing happened.  And that is very true.  Even so, at this time, 2012, so many other events are occurring, as listed above, that the harmonics might not have been giving the appropriate vibration to make things happen during previous passes. 

However now, it could well be that the harmonics are coming together with such synchronicity that change will occur, or at least be triggered, with this coming pass of Venus, in June.  Some people are now arguing that the harmonics will be perfect for the triggering of major cosmic energies with the Transit of Venus and will continue through until March 2013. 

Remember the specific December 21st, 2012 date really means nothing except that it is the date of the solstice.  And there is very little evidence that the time of the soltices were at all important to the Maya, living in a tropical regions.  To the ancient Maya, solar zeniths were far more important.  

SO again I have to say – We’ll all just have to wait and see.  As my mother used to continually say to me “patience is a virtue”, which always gave me a total pain every time I heard it.  But she was right.     

And if a catastrophic event does occur, there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it.  Except, pray for the best and prepare for the worst as I have discussed in some depth in my article at  http://www.raisingloveconsciousness.com/summary/2012-prophecies-preparations-climate-change

So the best way to prevent anything happening is for global positive focus and meditation – HOWEVER WITH ANY FEAR behind it.  If you focus on nothing happening from the perspective of fear, the fear will win through every time and ypou’ll get what you’re afraid of.

Personally, I am not the least bit concerned about a global geo-physical catastrophe.  I am open to the possibility that there might be one because of all the synchronistic events at this time.  But I just don’t know.  All I do know is that far from fear, I am really excited about this special time on our planet and believe I am so blessed to be here at this time.

Whilst the evidence is virtually non-existent of the predicted global geo-physical event, by contrast, Dr Carl Calleman’s model has been demonstrated as accurate over the last 16 billion odd years of the history of the Universe.  That’s just one of the things that I like about Calleman’s work, which I’ll discuss in the next article in this series, next Thursday.

Meanwhile, I hope this overview has given you a better idea of what it is that has attracted so many people to get caught up in the possibility of change at this time.  If it was just a matter of the Mayan prophecies alone, then it would be a no-show, because they hardly said anything about the future.  But it’s about looking at all of the events allegedly occurring at this time and connecting the dots and seeing what you come up with.
